Michelin replacing its Michelin XZE with new and improved tire

In October, Michelin will replace its 225/70R19.5 LRG and 245/70R19.5 LRH Michelin XZE tires with the Agilis HD Z 19.5 tire. The company says the Agilis HD Z 19.5 tire delivers the same performance of the Michelin XZE tire but with improved rolling resistance.

"The new Michelin Agilis HD Z 19.5 tire is the natural evolution of our already best-selling Michelin XZE brand, offering 34% more miles, better wet grip, and lower rolling resistance than the leading competitors," said Jaye Young, B2B on-road marketing director for Michelin North America.

Groove-bottom protectors protect against stone drilling. Variable-pitch groove walls keep stones out of the tread, extending casing life and retreadability. Full-width protector plies protect working plies from bruising and penetrations, reducing downtime. Curb guards protect shoulders and sidewalls.
